At our initial meeting, our clients advised us that their furniture did not fit due to a protruding wall behind the bed frame so new furniture would have to be purchased. However, we realized that by simply changing the layout of the furniture, our clients were able to save money and still achieve the end result that they wanted. Our efforts concentrated on developing the colour palette and selecting the soft furnishings and accessories to pull it all together. (Detail 01)
____The protruding wall has gone from being a discordant feature of the room to the backdrop for an elegant vignette. A beautiful framed print, which can be seen while resting in bed, hangs on the wall turning it into the focus of the room. The recess has been filled with a beautiful drapery panel, adding softness and colour. The colours and textures of the fabrics, area rug and art create a harmonious, serene ambiance. (Detail 02)
