[ Warmth & Elegance Personified ]
This large cavernous space required a harmonious colour scheme that would tie the different conversation areas together. The fireplace became the focal point of the room the colours of the fireplace surround, carpets and furniture fabrics were pulled from the feature painting. (Detail 01)
____A northern exposure and the absence of any light fixtures created a dreary feeling in this room. Eight-foot cement ceilings prevented adding pot lights or ceiling fixtures and the client did not want track lighting. The solution was to add sconces on every wall, providing much needed ambient lighting for this space. (Detail 02)
____The simplicity of the solarium furnishings provided a comfortable place for our clients to relax. Care was taken that the entire space including both rooms remained in balance, without one space overpowering the other. Pillars separated the rooms while adding architectural interest. (Detail 03)
